    Hi there

I'm trying to mount an old hard drive that i've taken from another system. I plugged the HD in using a USB caddy and tried mounting it without pre-boot authentication. However, it says the password fails even though i'm using the exact same password when the HD is actually in the system and it boots to the OS fine.

I'm certain this isn't a keyboard layout issue as both machines are using the UK layout and the password doesn't contain characters that would conflict with this anyway.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks!
