I have to admit, besides firewall I still don't know what Emsisoft Internet Security features are, what Emsisoft antimalware does not have? Big thanks in advance. -- No it ain't. It is different. The HIPS is gone now and so does other things that I use to like it with. But EIS firewall isn't bad. Solid and dependable. It depends really on your preferences.
Likewise solid for me also. I use EIS in my setup, and it's always first to catch malware I test my setup against. I have it a Win 10 image I use to test on my system.
Thanks, as far as I know you are using AppGuard, NVT Exe Radar Pro, Sandboxie, HMP Alert, and EIS-is this true? But if I might ask, why so much-isn't this security/protection approach, no offense, over-redundant? I mean you could you all of this but without EIS and NVT EXE Radar Pro, since AppGuard=NVT Exe Radar Pro in terms of protection and the way it protects, I'd even dare to say that AppGuard=NVT EXE Radar Pro=Sandboxie (properly configured with Internet access restrictions and start/run restrictions), when it comes to security/protection level. I have to admit that your security approach, seems to be the most attractive, and for a long time I'm thinking in copying it; on my Windows 10 I will definitely use Sandboxie and AppGuard, Emsisoft (although I don't know if it will be Emsisoft Anti-malware or Emsisoft Internet Security-that's a huge question) and HMP Alert as top level exploit protection. However, I have no reason in using NVT Exe Radar Pro, what's the point of this if I have EAM or EIS, AppGuard and Sandboxie Don't you think, Peter, it's over-redundant to have NVT Exe Radar Pro, with both AppGuard and Sandboxie; both Sandboxie and AppGuard properly configured on the same computer? And there is also: EIS or EAM with Windows 10 firewall on-to me this is by far the greatest dillema in the last several years...
Hi Coolwebsearch Let me ask you a question. If I had on my computers, your name, address, phone number email, your work schedule, so I know when you aren't home, your bank account information, your house alarm code, etc, would you still think it's to much protection? I have this info on all my clients, and some of them are single women. My setup has overlap, but it also is design with two ideas. 1) each piece covers something missing in the others, for example Appguard is the only one that has memory protection, and ERP protects me when I have to turn off Appguard during an install. 2) When I test my setup, I assume, if the is something I can do wrong, that I will do so by accident, so the overlap is also a safety net. Also amazingly my setup works well together, and I've got it both on Win 7 and Win 10 Pete

What I would like to know is how do you configure all 3 of them (AppGuard, NVT Exe Radar Pro and Sandboxie) so they can "live" with each other? The problem I have with Sandboxie is that I'd like use my configuration that I'm using now, with Internet access restrictions and start/run restrictions as well, now how hard is to configure NVT Exe Radar Pro with both Sandboxie and AppGuard? Is it possible to save configuration settings in both AppGuard and NVT Exe Radar Pro? Also, I have to ask you are you behind the router and its SPI and NAT firewalls? Or you don't have a router and its firewall protections at all? I'm asking this because this is crucial; if you can use EIS with firewall without router-firewall protections and not get infected, than it's OK for me, I don't have to be worried about this firewall protection issue at all.
