    To be honest Skylake is not that great. The 6700K CPU which is Intel's flagship CPU for Skylake is not much better than previous CPU's.

    I'm looking forward to their mobile CPU's to see how they are but the hype machine took over Skylake and it failed to deliver.

    Skylake is better then the previous gen processors in that it consumes less power, has a smaller footprint, and has better on-board graphics. However, in terms of raw computing speed, it is not better or faster then the previous gen processors.
