Yeah, I tried everything I could think of with cmd and I could not get it to do it.

With my new surround sound system pumping air out of the bass reflexes of my speakers I don't think I'll need a fan going this Summer. :D

I will have to try that ;).

BTW, a while back I had a graphic designer do some work on VS. Should we include this in VS 3.0, or just leave it the way it is?

    Dan,
I've sent you an email regarding components of HP Support Assistant crashing. What I forgot to add was that after running HP Support Assistant twice and seeing crashes in Win7 Reliability History twice I exited out of VS and ran HP Support Assistant again and this this no crashes in Reliability History.
    Thanks,
    Dave

I suspect some command lines are not detected by VS due to appcert. I would think KMD will remedy this. Have to wait and see if that is really the cause.

Hi Dan - had to do another batch of photos today and the same happened with 2.82. Removed it and nothing improved. On a closer look I saw that Superfetch was running and hogging the processor. Managed to shut it down and disable and all is fine now. Don't know how Superfetch got enabled as I always have this off. Anyway, good news is that VS is ok - sorry for the false alarm.

Hmmm, that is odd, thank you for letting me know. This will be fixed soon with VS 3.0 ;). You might try to shutdown the GUI and the VoodooShieldService, then delete all of the files in the C:\ProgramData\VoodooShield directory... this will reset everything in VS, but it should work a lot better. If you try this and it works, please let me know, because we might start with new settings automatically in VS 3.0, just to get rid of any of the old stuff that might have been causing problems. If we do this, we will import certain things like the account information from VS 2.0.

Yeah, sorry, they were both supposed to be that way ;). But do you guys like this better than the original VS graphics? The tricky part will be doing the new desktop shield gadget icon ;).

Hmmm, did you send the email to support@voodooshield.com? What is the path of the HP Support Assistant?

Yeah, the driver is going to work infinitely better with command lines (and other things), since the command lines come straight from the driver and VS no longer has to "clean them up".

I do think the original graphics could do with improvement, but I think you need some more responses on the 'new look'! :)

    Dan,
No, I hadn't found that email address at the time. I filled out the form on your website.
Please let me know if you need more information.

    Thanks,
    Dave
