That is the one thing I do not enjoy about Windows, they clearly log your IP, hardware id and hardware specification and cd-key. Even worse chances are you will have to phone them to activate your windows copy so they then get your telephone number. You have given them the kitchen sink ! People running VMs and encryption may still not be safe due to cross contamination as you suggested on the other thread. Clearly may need to revalue my linux and windows uses !
