    they should have a program that scans the setup/installer files. last i heard most of the AV companies weren't too interested in detecting adware so even some of the main ones only get a few hits at VT. thats the kind of program i might pay for.

    Be advised that JRT (downloaded from Malwarebytes site) will perform deletions without first reporting findings or asking permission. It did delete a Chrome extension (uBlock Origin) on my system, which had I been given the option, would not have happened.
