    Hmm, for something is corrupted.
    Okay, I'll try new sandbox.
    Did that for Forget ...only Hide are for IE sandbox.

    Edit:
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,rundll32.exe [InternetExplorer2]
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,dllhost.exe [InternetExplorer2]
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,rundll32.exe [InternetExplorer]
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,dllhost.exe [InternetExplorer]

    Same 1307/2221 repeated messages with new IE2 sandbox...

    Add this line to your Config file, under User settings:
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=1307,dllhost.exe [InternetExplorer2]

    And run IE in your IE2 sandbox, see what happens, bjm.:)

    Thanks for the earlier suggestion. No matter how it was worded in the registry just couldn't get it to auto start in the tray icons group so just dragged a shortcut to the taskbar instead. The problem surfaced this way when I used the right click context menu (Run Sandboxed). The app sandboxed but no tray icon to run some controls like Explore Contents/Delete Contents etc. Had to navigate all the way to Program Files to fire up SbieCtrl.exe manually to get a convenience tray icon to work from.

    Thanks Again

    In Sandboxie control>Configure>Windows shell integration, make sure the options to start Sandboxie control when Windows starts and When a program starts in the sandbox are ticked. If those options are ticked, SBIE control should show up in the tray as Windows start.

    If Sandboxie control doesn't show up in the tray, despite the options being ticked. Sometimes this can be solved by unticking the settings in the Windows shell integration window, reboot and tick them back after rebooting. You might want to try that.

    Another way you can run Sandboxie control is to do it from the Sandboxie folder in Start menu. You ll find an entry there for SBIE control. I know W8 don't come with an Start menu and I am not familiar with W8 but knowing that might help you.

    i keep trying the beta versions on my win10 x64 system, so far none of them actually play sound with any video flash or html from any browser. i noted a number of users on the sandboxie forum with the same problem & as yet no solution. problem appears to be ignored. i stopped using sandboxie last year when an update broke the sound, so even the recent 4. series have no sound and no answers to any posts regarding that. i'm a tad disappointed, i have a lifetime license i acquired back in the old days (when there was sound). i would assume it's not accessing a 'resource', but which one? nobody knows?

    Hi kronckew, I think the sound problems that had been reported by more than a few users, have been fixed. They had to do with sound playing videos with different players (like MPC-HC, VLC). They affected people in W10 and I believe, 64 bit W7 computers. But I don't recall anyone but you, reporting issues with sound playing Flash or HTML videos in the browser. Perhaps you should create a new thread about your issue. Since you been experiencing this issue for a while even before version 5 beta, that's what I would do.

    Bjm, see if you can get rid of the 1307 message once and for all by unticking, "Issue message 1307 when access is denied"....Navigate to Sandbox settings for your IE sandbox, Restrictions>Internet access. Look to the left bottom side of the Window.

    Can you show a picture of Messages from Sandboxie without the window that asks, "Are you sure you want to turn off reporting for message 2221", on top of it.

    Hello Bo,
    Here's pic you asked for.
    SBIE 1307 + 2221 before Hide on close of IE.png
    Bit of fill info. When I call IE it'll open Restore Down. From Restore Down "Hide" was working after I added 1307.
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,rundll32.exe [InternetExplorer]
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2221,dllhost.exe [InternetExplorer]
    SbieCtrl_HideMessage=1307,dllhost.exe [InternetExplorer]

    When I call IE from a link it'll open Maximize. And for whatever reason "Hide" was not enough on close from Maximize.
    Removed the check mark > Issue message 1307. Seems, quiet now.

    Hi
    Have not used my licensed S-boxie for years but installed it today. While using IE11 without S-boxie i can always go to a site and fill in my passwords automatically in the appropriate frame by clicking in it and then click logg in but this do not seems to work while using S-boxie. I could not find any lead in settings either so how do i solve this?

    Even now the "font issue" has been fixed in 5.01.12, Firefox 40.0.2 is still not running correctly using the "Sandboxed Web Browser" shortcut (which uses the Start.exe command). The title bar is not drawn correctly. The search options page is not displayed correctly. I don't think this has anything to do with fonts.

    Pling man, I believe the font issue was only in W10 and system wide. Firefox is my browser, all seems well in my XP and W7. And haven't experienced any font issue running any program with this version or the ones before. I think you should report what you are seeing in the Beta 5 thread at the SBIE forum. Perhaps, post an screen.

    But before doing that, if you don't delete your sandbox regularly, delete it now and run Firefox in it again. You can also test running Firefox in a new sandbox to see if it makes a difference.

    I am using windows 10, Firefox 40.0.3 (just updated) and latest SAndboxie beta 5.01.12.

    Firefoxmruns fine when run as a forced program. But when I run using the "Sandboxed browser" shortcut on my desktop, it looks different. I will try to post on the SAndboxie forum for this beta.

    I always empty my sandbox whenever I exit Firefox and also when I log into any banking sites I use, so it is empty quite regularly.

    Thats an interesting detail that ought to help the developers figure out whats going on.:)

    In the meantime, see what happens if you untick the option to add the sandboxed web browser icon, in Windows shell integration. Reboot the PC and tick the option back. Then try running Firefox again by clicking the sandboxed shortcut.

    Thanks Bo. That didn't work unfortunately. I have posted this issue on the Sandboxie forum now so hopefully the developers will see it.

    Happy to report that 5.01.12 (64-bit) on Windows 7 is running well, here also. Seems like the previous problem I had is solved.
