I purchased Migrate OS to SSD to migrate my OS and after selecting which files and folders to transfer it has been stuck on the preparation for "selective copy disc" for the last 6 hours. It keeps telling me not to lose hope and to please give it some more time and the disc is still working, but I'm pretty sure it should not be taking this long. I'm moving my OS from a 2 terabyte drive to a 128gig SSD. An ideas or advice?
Same problem here, trying to move a 200GB windows 10 installation and its been stuck at Selective Copy Disk for an hour.
Never mind, it started right after I posted here, now its showing me a timer that acts opposite of your typical timer...Instead of decreasing I see one that's constantly increasing, started at 20 seconds and now its at 2 mins 37 seconds lol.
Same problem. Stuck at "selective disk copy" watching the rather cheesy comments (don't lose hope) scroll by. How long should this take?
Hi Guys, Ihave the same problem, trying to install an SSD (128GB sandisk U110) to a packard bell with windows 10, tried so many times, do you guys had any solution? it is stuck at "selective copy disk" part...
Any solutions yet. My PC has now been running for about three days solid and I am still getting the same preparing messages.
Migration from w10 is stuck on selective copy disk and been like it for ages, is there a solution to this issue. I note that it does this when i check the tick box to make the os the same size as the larger ssd. I am going from mechanical 320 to 480ssd on a lenovo.
Currently stuck on the same thing/window I love how no one official has even replied to any of you posters either. So glad I paid for something that clearly doesnt work.
