Not sure if I posted this, but:

Emsisoft Emergency Kit, HitmanPro.Alert, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Prey (Anti-Theft), SoftPerfect RAM Disk, WinPatrol, Zemana Anti-Malware, PeStudio, SUMo, LastPass, TrafficLight, VTchromizer, WOT, µBlock, HostsMan

The above is actually my security setup, minus what's already in Windows 10 (system imaging, file history, SmartScreen, Windows Defender, Protected Mode, UAC, etc.)

I've been using Advanced SystemCare Ultimate for nearly 5 weeks now, and am still verry happy with it. It is always extremely light, and I don't notice any system impact from having it installed. Usually, at times, I will find even a light antivirus slowing down my system, but that has not been the case here.

I can understand members here not wanting to use IObit's products due to the companies past, but I am impressed with ASC Ultimate.

Yes, works well together, no conflicts. uBlock catches most of them first, but Adguard has caught some also.

I've used both together, I used Adguard to block ads and ublock for privacy and malware protection

I go on using AV free setup.
    Windows 7 Prof x64
    Standard User Account .
    User Account Control - max
ZoneAlarm Firewall free, all settings in max, high or manual modes
Sandboxie free - all browsers, the sandbox auto deletes
MalwareBytes AntiExploit with additional shields for routine progs
    NovirusThanks ExeRadar beta (i.e. free)
    Zemana Antilogger
    Scotty :)
    free
On demand scans (not every day and sometimes not every week) with Emsisoft Emergency Kit and Zemana Antimalware 2

The setup is lite for my PC. The proactive combo of this setup ZA + ERP + ZAL + WP reacts to different events, they don't repeat popups of each other. So it seems this combo doesn't have overlapping.

I had to remove F-Secure due to it slowing my boot down quite a bit. Trying EAM
Make that ESET 9 BETA, I've been wanting to give it a test drive.

    How's my setup:

    Windows 10 Pro x64
    - Windows Defender
    - Windows Firewall Control 4.5.1
    - UAC Max
    - Malwarebytes Antimalware (OnDemand)
    - Hitman Pro (OnDemand)
    - Firefox (no addons), duckduckgo search engine
    - HostsMan (using MVPS Hosts, hpHosts ad and tracking servers only, Peter Lowe's AdServers List, Malware Domain List)
    - Router configured with Norton DNS

Considering adding EMET to the mix as well once I get a better understanding of how it works. Any suggested threads that explain a good config for it? Would this also be a good configuration for a family member who is PC illiterate?

IMO it's a solid setup. I would only add something to backup your system and your personal files.
