Andrey, thought problem was fixed but is not sent all att. to support ticket number #THS-825-12496 Just no updates fresh or over the top??
Thanks for the log file! For some reason it seems that Minor upgrades are broken. Which Windows version do you use? Do you have Windows update enabled? May be relative to this bug: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...-service/3d75a1c2-114a-4241-a527-35b536edc158
I am using windows xp pro and yes I do have windows update enabled(which is a mute subject, because its not supported now ) I can install everything else except Adguard
Ok, another suggestion is that windows registry is messed up. Do you still have this install issue? If so then installer log may be helpful.
Andrey, nothing in there about your program apperently because it does not get that far..to record anything...
I'm having internet connection speed problems again with Adguard on my HP computer (Win 7 x 64). I used the "Control Panel Uninstaller" to remove Adguard. Still have the problem. A few months ago I used Revo Uninstaller Pro on a forced uninstall after Control Panel Uninstaller. That fixed the internet connection speed from 2.5 minutes to 20 seconds (not running Adguard). I figured I wait a few months and give AG another shot and the slow connection speed is back after installing Adguard. Adguard works fine on my Toshiba computer, it's just the HP computer with the problem. Tried Revo Uninstaller Pro again with no luck this time. Is there a Adguard Removal Tool that I can try?
Adguard Removal Tool/Uninstaller is not available yet. I created request/reminder about this lately. You can read vasily's reply here: http://forum.adguard.com/showthread.php?6039-Adguard-v6-uninstaller&p=55248&viewfull=1#post55248 You may also try uninstall Adguard using Manual Instructions: http://adguard.com/en/how-to-delete-adguard.html and then reinstall What AV software do you use? Also have you tried to switch network driver? https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/20/10/how-to-disable-wfp-driver By default you should have WFP driver unticked. If so then TDI driver is used.
Andrey, just got an e-mail from support with just a link on how to remove Adguard..no reason why or to install again..can you find out what up?? Ticket Numbre' Ticket ID: THS-825-12496 Department: Support Type: Issue Status: Open Priority: High
@ProTruckDriver Have you tried switching driver type in AG settings? They thought that manual uninstall/reinstall will fix it. It can be true in case if the problem is caused by some registry issues.
Andrey..that seemed to have worked, now just need a program update to see if it installs ok! I dont know when that may happen do you? and as always thank you so very much Gordon
While Adguard for Desktop is enabled, Does anyone else get a delay while typing in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge?
I keep getting this error on Firefox 39.0 whenever going to a ssl website. Right now on Windows 10 Edge browser and this ssl adguard forum works fine. How do I fix this please ? http://i.imgur.com/RwWjhra.jpg
Earlier this week using Windows 8.1 Pro, Firefox 39 and Adguard for Windows v5.10, I had no problems visiting SSL websites with HTTPS scanning enabled, like https://www.google.com. But since today using Windows 10 Pro and Firefox 39, Adguard is giving me problems when HTTPS scanning is enabled. I get a message that the certificate is invalid, see the attached screenshot. Microsoft Edge is also giving me problems when HTTPS scanning is enabled. Any fix for this besides disabling HTTPS scanning?
Regarding the SSL error, the fix is as follows: -Close your browser. -Disable protection in Adguard. Wait for a few seconds. -Enable protection in Adguard on. Wait for 30-60 seconds. -Open your browser. The problem should be solved. All is well now.
Meanwhile we are now using github as an open bug tracker. You can now see open bugs here: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues
@avatar I got a blue screen in Windows 10 Pro x64 today while listening to Spotify desktop and browsing with Firefox 39: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (NETIO.SYS) I did a preliminary analysis of the minidump and the cause seemed to be in "adgnetworkwfpdrv" / "AdguardSvc.exe", which would be related to the WFP driver and the Adguard service. I disabled the WFP driver in Adguard for now. I will also send you a PM with the minidump file. Could you have a look at it?
Same problem how do I disable WFP driver in adguard Moreover I get slow down in Edge browser that in Windows 10
Sorry for the delay was on vacation. I fixed it by following this: https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?/R...iew/54/10/connection-is-not-trusted---firefox
