Is a clean install recommended from the current version?

Yes, as always... especially with major versions (i.e. 2015>2016). :)

If last year was an indication they won't post the 2016 version until they are at least done testing patch "a" for it. I could be wrong and that would be fine with me but I don't expect to see it until at least mid August. At least.

I saw the following page referenced on the Kaspersky forums in regard to the 2015 version and upgrading to Windows 10:
    http://support.kaspersky.com/12194
I don't know if the 2016 version will immediately fix these limitations and if so if this will speed its release.

I will be uninstalling any and all security products to perform the upgrade. After completed I will reinstall something. Not sure what yet. Probably not KIS 2015.

I downloaded the TR version (16.0.0.614) from the links in Kaspersky beta board forum. It should be almost the same as the commercial version, minus the "A" patch.

I think these links are not beta but TR which admit commercial licenses:
    ftp://ftp2.kasperskyftp.com/consumer-products/Current_Versions/KAV_Win_2016/kav16.0.0.614en-us.exe
    ftp://ftp2.kasperskyftp.com/consumer-products/Current_Versions/KIS_Win_2016/KIS16.0.0.614en-US.exe
    ftp://ftp2.kasperskyftp.com/consumer-products/Current_Versions/KTS(2016)/KTS16.0.0.614en.exe
It seems restrictions will be addressed once W10 is ofically released via a new patch or standard updates.

Installed the new KIS. So far so good minus one issue. Google Hangouts keep losing connection to the internet.

My question still stands... is this also true of the 2016 version? This is a question for anyone that knows. I have not yet found an answer.
