    Sounds exciting, but when will we get to see this in consumer PC's, that's the question. I'm guessing not anytime soon.

    I'll believe it when Walmart sells stuff with it. At a price I can afford. Otherwise it's just internet ramblings.

    You would also need an interface to support its speed, so it'd have to be a PCIe card. Even then, a x4 slot only yields ~2GB/s more than SATA3 IIRC and I wouldn't want to share lanes with my video cards, ruling out x8/x16.

    That may prompt a flash-specific interface in future architectures perhaps.
