    IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Warning: You may be served an incompatible update when going from Pale Moon for Windows XP 25.4.0 to 25.4.1

UPDATE: I have re-enabled Automatic updates for 25.4.1. However, PLEASE make sure you are getting the
    proper update.
If something goes wrong or if you are in doubt, please download the full installer instead. But the issue
    has been fixed in 25.4.1.

Only those on PM4XP 25.4.0 are affected.

Since an update to resolve an unrelated issue is currently being built. I would ask that you pay CLOSE attention
when you are served your next update.

When you check for updates it will normally say Pale Moon for Windows XP 25.4.1 (x86 or x64).
If it JUST says Pale Moon 25.4.1 (x86 or x64) then DO NOT install that update as it will be installing Main-Line
which will NOT run on Windows XP.
If you encounter this you will have to download the correct version of the update.

Got it via the internal updater also. My default browser now. Too much bloat in FF.

    Earth .... occasionally
    Likewise !

My thanks and respect to the developer for making the Logjam fix a priority .

Does anyone know which popular browsers have not yet been updated to deal with this ?

I installed " Disable DHE 0.1.1.1 " in FF when I first read about Logjam , but to me that's stop-gap fix ...
    .... a band-aid on an axe-wound.

And I still haven't seen a FF update yet.

AFAIK uBlock doesn't "FULLY" function in the current version of Pale Moon.

    It doesn't.

I'm not sure about this decoupling from Firefox. Right now I'm back with FF because of add-on compatibility issues. With this "new" engine those issues are bound to increase.
I have been with PaleMoon for about 5 years and it was such a smooth experience. After version 25.0 last year I had to go back twice yet. I'm not going to go back and forth just out of loyalty.
Let's see how things go with 26.0.

What exactly doesn't "fully function" in Palemoon are your referring to ? I am currently using uBlock Origin 0.9.9.2 with Dynamic filtering and it seems to working well with Palemoon 25.5(86) version.

Wasn't able to see Icon to show number of blocked requests. After further testing I installed it in another PM
profile (less strict pref settings) and enabled JavaScript. Now I see uBlock Icon and requests blocked.
Now have to figure out which config settings need changing in PM. Thanks for verifying it works in PM.

uBlock may work in PaleMonn under specific circumstances, but it doesn't usually work on it.

sadly, Palemoon started some time ago to block some payments sites i use to pay my bills. i always had to use IE in such cases. i don't like the hassle, i want a browser in which things work. as i can't stand IE, i now switched to Chrome, having Palemoon as a "just-in-case" browser. too bad, i really liked Palemoon.

Hi everyone! I'm new ti these forums!

I just wanted to add that I'm a Pale Moon user that's using Ublock v1.0.0.1-dev.1 and that it's working very well for me. Also that gorhill made some improvements and fixed some bugs that was specifically a Pale Moon issue. So yes to answer two of your questions, he's finally came around to fixing issues for Pale Moon and that I'm pretty sure Ublock will work with Pale Moon v26.0 because of this, "we are planing on returning a compatibility version for historical reasons to make sure these extensions remain compatible with Pale Moon v26.0," but we'll see. Another thing to note is that he's also implemented AlexVallat pre-australis/palemoon work for uMatrix and added the Pale Moon GUID to install.rdf. Furthermore, Pale Moon is in the works of the new rendering engine Goanna and will stay compatible with most add-ons (ublock) and fork the ones we can't.

This is a request to Palemoon users. Would you go the website http://espn.go.com/ and play a few videos on the site in HTML5 mode and let me know how the audio is. Me personally, I get a very garbled distorted sound in HTML5 mode but the video is fine. Video and audio is ok in flash. I have tried the same in Firefox and HTML5 audio is ok in FF. Strange thing is that there are no problems with video/audio in sites like Yahoo or MSN etc.. using Palemoon. I have already posted this problem in Palemoon forum.

    Just a Reminder:

Pale Moon will no longer offer browser support updates on PM4XP project. (Binary Outcast)
If you want the latest browser updates you'll have to switch over to the Atom/XP build of Pale Moon.
    Current version available is 25.6.0.

NOTE: Applies to XP SP3/2003 Server users.
NOTE: Atom/XP builds exclude the Web Developer tools. Also only available in 32-bit (x86).

Does anyone know why the Properties dialog box under the Version tab is empty of info in Pale Moon executable
    installer file? Just wondering.
