    My No-Resident-AV setup:

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Eaz-Fix (discontinued clone of RollBack Rx 9.1 with imaging)

    Comodo FW:
    FW in Custom mode
    HIPS in Clean PC mode
AutoSandbox: Default settings + Block Unrecognized apps, Winamp and Windows Media Player "Run Virtually" and "Restricted"

MalwareBytes AntiExploit with shielded internet and some routine apps

Sandoboxied Browsers (with workaround to make SBIE compatible with MBAE)

Sporadic scans with Zemana Antimalware and Comodo Rating Scan (in CFW itself)

After my experience...yes.It deleted all the snapshots after restoring the baseline snapshot for example. And after that,Windows was preparing my desktop...all my settings, icons, themes, wallpapers were gone. With all due respect to the developer,Toolwiz Time Machine is useless to me.

Trialling KAV 2015 after having used WSA for the last 2+ years. So far I'm rather impressed with Kaspersky. It's light on resources and has some good features such as 'Vulnerability Scan' and 'Kaspersky Security Network' - handy for right-clicking on new files.

Have moved on to Emsisoft Anti-Malware. Kaspersky seemed to be having update issues (hanging at 99%). EAM is certainly light on resources, and its scanning engine(s) have been faring very well in tests of late. If I were to change one thing, it would be the interface; I find myself forgetting where certain features are within the sub-menus.

Then if Avast is on your PC and you have "Hardened Mode" on, disable it.
