Anyone see Firefox bookmarks corrupted by Shadow Mode.
Often I'll have to perform Places Maintenance after SM.
    Outside SM...FF bookmarks don't corrupt.

Thank you very much Patrick :-*

I don't trust Norton Products, my hash are different, one reason more to never use Norton :gack:

Same here Identical, checked from the setup file that I have with MD5 & SHA Checksum Utility Pro, MD5 Checksum Tool, and Nero MD5 Verifier

    Thanks Cutting_Edgetech :-*

    Salutations,

Question, please! Can you use Sandboxie and Shadow Defender at the same time?
Will this cause any problems when I reboot the PC. Trying to keep a major headache from
    happening?
Also, what is the different between Shadow Defender and Toolwiz Time Freeze? I know that
Shadow Defender cover the MBR (Master Boot Records). Any thoughts?

    Kind regards,

I am using Shadow Defender and SBIE at the moment with no issues at all. I've never played with Toolwiz Time Freeze so I don't know on that.

    @Peter2150,

So, when you reboot you PC, there is no problems and/or headaches with any of the software on the PC?
    Just checking to make sure?

    Kind regards,

Not a thing. Anything left over from any SBIE activity or anything else is gone.

Moose, I have never experienced any kind of problem or conflict between Sandboixe and Shadow defender. Both programs can be used along each other. I can say the same about Toolwiz time freeze. Both of this programs get along very very well with SBIE.

I normally dont use LV programs at the same time as SBIE as I use SD for testing programs and changes to the system and Sandboxie for security. But if you like to use them at the same time, you can do so.

Apparently, in W10 Home Windows updates will be automatically downloaded and installed. In W10 Pro it will be possible to delay the installation.

Especially in the first case, this poses difficulties when Shadow Defender is used.

Some time ago I noticed strange but interesting behaviour connected with launching of SD...this action is detected by SpyShelter always when shadow mode is established but not in all cases...I know - it sound a bit stupid but it just means that SS not always alerts about this action.
Mentioned alert concerns file called conime.exe, what could be on my Vista not so abnormal - SD is chineese programm and SS not so long ago introduced encryption for Asian OS...but actualy I don't know where is the true.
I noticed that allowing or blocking don't gives me visible changes of SD's working in shadow mode...what it means?...could someone explain?...and what about others actions logged by SS? Mountvol.exe is allowed in all actions...

Just testing. Build 578 works fine in Windows 10 Build 10162. If Tony can solve the reboot issue, he's a genius.

It seems that it will be possible to disable automatic updates:
Windows Update Automatic Updates - Enable or Disable in Windows 10,

although some have reported that these procedures do not not work.
