I use Zemana on every infected computer I fix now. I find the detection rate to be good, and it does a good job of detecting hijacked browser settings. I remember the days when MBAM was all I would use to clean an infected computer, except in rare cases where an infection remained., in which case Hitman Pro would remove the remaining infections. However, these days I use MBAM, Zemana, AdwCleaner and Junkware Removal Tool, as I find running one of these usually isn't enough.

The removal of scan engine selection does not matter to me, as this was something I never used (or even noticed) anyway.

Proof is in the image, as compared against the earlier one on the previous page.

    No offence.
Comparing my logs with yours, what I'm trying to say is:
imo, the problem is in your PC, and not a bug in ZAM generally.

No offence taken...I suggest you compare the images, i.e. the exclusions. ;) No problem with my computer. Just different snapshots, with different security software combination.

Is the lifetime license still available? I went through the process and it's 90 days.

You should uninstall ZAM and reboot. This should fix the issue.

    Sorry. Finally did.

:) Hopefully we will add new features from now on so no more removing/disabling.

Unfortunately you can't bypass it since we improve the architecture of the cloud and the protocol ZAM speaks with the cloud every single day. So, even if you do (which should be a hack) it won't be appropriate to do such kind of a thing and you will start getting errors.

    B. We don't scan document files anymore.

That file is not a system file. If it was real CSRSS which is a subsystem executable, ZAM would repair it. So, there is nothing wrong there, ZAM chose the right option and deleted the file.

Thanks. Feedbacks we are getting from our customers are much like the same as yours. 90% of our users are installing / advising ZAM to his/her friends and family. This was what we were trying to do since we started this project and it looks like we are doing it good.

Thanks. I have forwarded it to my colleagues.

Thanks for sharing. I joined the giveaway too :)
