I've been using KDE Connect for quite awhile now. Features are device dependent. I have a touch pad (TelePad) that can't use a lot of the features because of its android version. Right now I am typing this sentence from my Galaxy S4. Back to the PC keyboard. Right now this feature in my mind is more of a novelty item. I can see it's usefulness if they eventually allow responding to SMS. It also can interface with other KDE Connect machines not just cell phones. Though I have not tried it. My sons computer is an available device.
