We may add an inline script blocking feature in one of the next updates because it may be really useful for ad blocking.

What for the full-scaled NoScript functionality, I am not sure that's the right thing to do for an ad blocker.
This won't help you block ads or trackers, but it will surely break a lot of websites.

    Hi @avatar,

I have a couple of questions regarding Adguard's Malware and Phishing Protection:

    1. If this list of WOT's Trusted Sources is valid/current, then why does Adguard cite three separate reports (WOT, Safe Browsing, Yandex)?

    2. In the presence of Adguard (extension), should i disable Chrome's Safe Browsing (redundant) or there is more than meets the eye?

    TIA

There may be a big delay before WOT loads this data.

No, our database is independent, we don't use Google SafeBrowsing data at all.

Sorry, doesn't Adguard (extension) use WOT, Safe Browsing and Yandex to fill up (partially?) its Malware and Phishing Filters? I was under that impression. Can you, please, enlighten me?
I have already read the related info, but it refers mainly to the app.

It does use all three, but partially, for example not all sites marked as Malware in WOT go to our blacklist. The same for Yandex and Google sources.

I finally discovered the rule for occurrence of the above anti-adblock notification. Delete cookies and the notification jumps out during the first site loading. It is fully reproducible, please fix it.

Still can't reproduce it, but I've found one suspicious function in the source code.

    Try this rule please:
    Code:
    inoreader.com#%#window.adb_detected = function() {};

Please try disabling your user filter (and other filters except English) one by one.
    Something is breaking anti-adblock rule.

We've just released a new version of Adguard browser extension.

    Changelog for 2.0.9:
    • Added inverted whitelist feature
    • Added Korean language
    • Added Serbian language
    • Added Chinese language
    • Fixed object-subrequest modifier work
    • Fixed some minor bugs
    • Fixed vimeo issue in Firefox extension
    • Improved extension initialization speed
    • Fixed 'Go Back' button on browsing security warning page
    • Added link to github release notes
Let me tell you more about "Inverted whitelist" feature.

If it is enabled, ads are unblocked everywhere except the whitelist. We understand that this won't be very popular among AG users. But anyway, there're lots of users who see a problem in complete ad blocking. This feature is for them.
