newegg screwed me on this deal i ordered three and when i never saw them i contacted them and my order was cancelled they said they were out of stock and had no more to ship. this really ticked me off. i ordered them they very morning they went on sale. they did not do a refund or anything just cancelled my order. i order a LOOOOOTTT of stuff from newegg so this is bs. if they did not have enough they should not have taken the order.
Been doing a lot of business myself with NewEgg over the years, and just recently I have had an ordered canceled. Called them up, and asked them what was going on, and their reason that products are assigned to various warehouses across the country, and that real time stock was not correct. I told them what I ordered was still showing in stock on their website, and the rep acknowledged that fact, but there was nothing they could do about it. They did say that their stocking system was being updated.
yeah they have screwed up a few times lately for me. and imo the cust service while still normally good has become way worse over the years as they have got so much bigger. years ago they would go WAYYYYYY out of the way for any customer. now not so much. i have been with them since they opened. i used to deal with egghead also lol.
