I've got a USB 2 2.5 inch external hard drive that won't mount in OS 10 Yosemite. I'm running the latest version 9.7.109. Disk utility shows the name of the drive but when I try to mount it it gives me this error message. When I reboot into Ubuntu 14.04 it mounts and works fine. The drive is formatted with inode 128 EXFS 3. I had to format it with inode 128 because it has a DCP file of a movie. I was told by the projection is that it needed to be this formatting. anybody else run into this?
