Hi, I don't use a vpn but sometimes I use a proxy only for my browser, firefox. The question is straightforward: I open firefox (direct connection) I visit a site that leaves a cookie on my pc. Then I switch to my reliable proxy without deleting any cookies and I revisit the site on proxy. Does the cookie reveal or may reveal my real IP?
The cookie itself probably not, but if a site would record and connect cookie with both IPs, proxy wouldn't help much to hide your real IP.
thanks, same applies for connections through vpn? (if a cookie is stored in my PC whilst on direct connection and revisit the site via vpn without deleting the cookie)
