Just curious where you found the 37.0.2 build? It's not available via internal updater and not on the FTP site either.

I wonder if it has been pulled ? I tried to update a few minutes ago and the internal updater does not pick it up, and the installers on the websites will download 37.0.1. :doubt:

Thanks for confirming; it appears they pulled it.

Victek, it's still there, under Candidates, with an April 15 date. There were quite a number of bug fixes in the release Schedule Update, and perhaps, there's an issue with this version, otherwise, they would have released it officially, with release notes and all. Just FYI.

Thanks, I just read that 37.0.2 was scheduled for release tomorrow so I assumed it was the stable release. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...-version-released.361562/page-19#post-2482562

    Victek, you're welcome! Take care.
SweX, that was supposed to happen last Friday. Maybe Monday, it'll see the light of day. ;) You're welcome as well.

Yes exactly, which is why I expected it to be out by now (Sunday). But no worries, I am in no hurry. I rather see them release a good stable release than see users report about problems. Mozilla has so many release channels these days it's hard to keep up with the beta, nightly, stable, and candidate release channels. I watch this thread and I am sure I will see a post when 37.0.2 is out for real. :D

A note about Firefox 37.0.2 with regard to Precise/Trusty repositories upgrades of Firefox.

When I tried to upgrade using the precise repository (via Upgradable Custom filter), the upgrade was not found, and so, the reason stated in the nest paragraph is what I believe occurred as the cause of why that happened.

Yes, Mozilla's website has released Firefox 37.0.2, however, it appears the repository for Ubuntu's Precise 12.04.5 LTS upgraded to Firefox 37.0.2 before Mozilla pulled its first attempt to release 37.0.2, and so the websites for packages.ubuntu.com/precise/firefox and for trusty (substitute trusty for precise in URL) are not indicating that they have been updated to 37.0.2 - and IMHO, the repository upgrades to 37.0.2 should NOT yet be trusted for installation until the URL linked webpages for both precise and trusty have been upgraded to version 37.0.2 for download.

I was able to download successfully Firefox 37.0.2 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html at this time, but I will wait to install it when the Precise repository is properly upgraded.

    FYI: There will be a v 38.0.5 between v38.0 and v 39.0.
It is to be the 'big spring release'. The release schedule has been adjusted.

Not so far. The Beta Versions included Windows 64-bit; no word as to when we'll see them in the Stable versions.

Agree about the new options page, the older tabbed version was much better. The new version looks like Windows 10 optimised for touch & nothing else.

Cheers for the link to disable the Adobe Primetime DRM plugin :thumb:

Banzi, there's a way to restore the old Options tab window:
