Which then brings up the question of how HTTPS requests are dealt with. Anyone here know such details?
I had the the extension and it was working until the last Chrome update, after the update it was gone from my extension list, looks like Google just arbitrarily removed it.
I wonder why, when you use adguard, which blocks more trackers then disconnect? Aside the fact, that desktop versions are generally slowing computer more than extensions, it wants to install VPN and without it, it does not work, I will pass.
Are you referring to the spyware filter? Which the adguard websites claims "Enable this filter and Adguard will block data transmission to the web that contains info on the websites you visited, purchases you made, your movies or music preferences and much more. Your data will remain confidential."
But how does it work, do you still get to see a browser button? To be honest, I think it's a weird move, I wonder why they moved away from the browser extension. Because it now does indeed seem to be more intrusive, it wouldn't even install correctly inside the sandbox.
During setup it said, that a browser extension will be installed upon launching of the browser, but it did not for me, probably because I have skipped VPN part.
