I decided to RAID My 2 SandDisk Ultra II 120GB SSD's and from a Default of 550MBs per second this is the current Benchmark test. So as you can see RAID on SSD's is far superior to HDD's
RAID0 is living dangerously I do RAID10 for data that I care about, RAID6 for data that I don't care so much about, and RAID0 for temp drives. Just sayin'
Peter there's one thing I noticed with this RAID0 setup though, If the System reserved partition is active Raxco instant restore doesn't like it and says boot is not system disk or something like that, however without the reserved partition everything's fine
I've been running RAID 0 since Windows 98. The only problem I ever had was with a pair of IBM 60GXPs and they both died. Per the first post, SSDs definitely scale better than HDDs.
