Yes it does. But that only protects you against MITM attack. I had issues the free version and uninstalled and refuse to use it.

Note that Quarri MyPOQ is a free product.

I tested it out last year. The version at that time was not EMET compatible. Tested it again when they inform me the EMET issue was resolved and product had problems with IE 10 x64 using it. E-mailed them about that issue and never received a response from them. Proceed with caution on this one.

EPM is IE's version of sandboxing. You should always run with it set on for your Internet zone at least.

mine was dissabled. might have been some security software that does that and does't reenable it on unintall? unless it is dissabled by default.

Kaspersky Safe Money worked great for me in Kaspersky Pure 3.0, did not need to do anything it would seamlessly automatically load the protected browser when I went to my bank site, Pay Pay etc... and turn it off when off left the site.

However I and others can't get it to work that way with KTS 2015 after upgrading so appears a bit buggy right now.

I tried the Bitdefender one and it is a stand alone browser, meaning does not work inside your preferred browser like Kaspersky's version.

You might have to turn off the virtual keyboard feature to enter text.

When it comes to sensitive transaction, I can't trust Bitdefender. As BoerenkoolMetWorst exposed, they used weak encryption on SSL scanning, and even worse, they didn't check revocation thus endangered millions of user to risk of fake cert. Also note, until users requested it they used very old vulnerable version of Chromium as a base of Safepay. They are definitely good in malware protection, but terribly fails in caring whole user security.
Although theoretically all Chromium's TLS security feature except latest one will be applied to Safepay, I won't be surprised if they mess up some of these security.

I'm afraid that it might be A vs B but Kaspersky Safe Money seems better in this regard, as it sandboxes your everyday browser so it's up-to-date provided you keep it and Kaspersky uses better encryption for SSL scanning. I don't comment on all other aspects of those solution like Keystroke protection as I assume comparing only 1 or 2 aspect(s) is good way to avoid A vs B, but just as a note when you use Safemoney, make sure you have enabled Virtualization technology in your CPU and you're not using VM cuz Safemoney's screen capture protection requires hyper visor privilege which can't be used when you use VM.

I also used Quarri MyPOQ but form recent version change, it always fails even w/ default Windows7 installation so I gave up. Just as a note, MyPOQ used OpenDNS regardless of your DNS setting. As to EMET, basically it rejected EMET.dll to be loaded but in old version somehow it is loaded tho MyPOQ made alert that it couldn't reject dll injection and this may endanger transaction.

BD Safepay is indeed a living nightmare. The free version uses a version of Chromium nearly 2 years old! Can you believe that a security company could do that? I upgraded to their paid Safepay including secure VPN also hoping that the core browser would update, no way, same 2 year old piece of cheese full of holes in it. Not only that, but it constantly showed an insecure VPN. I gave up in disgust and got a refund.

Safepay as an integrated module in the full BD suite is something else and more polished and up to date, but I don't recall the Chromium age, I think it was still a few versions behind current, but the VPN worked. But the rest of the BD suite I cannot live with. Went back to Webroot.

Here is an update - Bitdefender continue to fail in respect of this product. I downloaded this morning from Bitdefender's own site and noticed that it is still using version 35.0.1916.86 of Chrome! The latest version is 54.0.2840.87!!! Two and half years old! Thousands of exploits in "Safepay". I would be laughing if this was not so serious. I reported it previously to their support people, yet still here it is. FAIL.

You would have to directly ask Bitdefender if they have been constantly maintaining it with their own security updates. When a vendor or corp/gov concern starts customizing a browser, it is normal for browser to show the ver. number of when the customization began.

That's an interesting point, but after raising this issue to Bitdefender twice now I have not received any such explanation, if fact I got zero explanation from the support desk, and a completely incorrect suggestion on how to resolive, i.e. they don't understand the issue.

Assuming you are correct, then there remains a problem with the bank whose systems will flag Safepay as an old version browser, I got that several times so stopped using it.
