hello, I Look n stop version 2.07 on Windows 64bit home premium 64bit. Everything works except when .... FILTERING SOFTWARE ASSET is checked. As against the new session I did not session administrator but it works completely standard user. symptom = 1 / administrator access in the session did not even start when arrrive to active filtering software is activated. 2 / List of active software does not indicate when the administrator session Filtering software is active on. Ps: In both sessions the same applications are allowed and blocked, and service.exe, svchost.exe, explorer.exe are also authorized that the new Standard user session everything is perfect clear that the concern is not permissions but not by subtracting the problem lies elsewhere. The only way that the wifi is turned on or connected property is in session problematic active filtering software is unchecked. Sorry for bad english trad= google translate.
Hi. Apologies it's taking so long for a response. I'm not sure that I exactly understand your problems, won't stop me from trying to help though. It sounds like you in reference to 'Internet filtering' layer, when checked / activated you running into connectivity issues. More specifically your problems when using Wireless adapter. You need the importable Internet-filtering rule for Secured Wireless, available at http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm and the very first downloadable importable rule file. I also think that you saying the Look 'n' Stop is loosing your customization on next boot? This can happen if Windows is tweaked up to shutdown faster, not giving enough opportunity for software to close gracefully. Also you may see upon shutting down or restarting that the following applications not responding, and if you choose to force them closed, you'll end up loosing unsaved customization. Always better to give applications little more time to .. gracefully exit, close down. When you first install the Look 'n' Stop product, customize it to your preferences and then manually exit out of the running Look 'n' Stop application. This will force instant settings saving, and you should thereafter be alright. Regards, Phant0m``
