@avatar - The latest version is running great, Plus, Thank you for adding Vivaldi Browser support. Thank you for the update, excellent work
Interesting. It appears to be updated. He posted he doesn't really pay much mind to it anymore.. So that's odd. Also his news is almost a year old on the website.
@pegas, even with all these filters enabled I still can't reproduce it. Do you have rules in your user filter?
Great, thank you! If you have a too wide rule in your user filter, you can exclude aliexpress: Code: ruletext$domain=~aliexpress.com
v6 cancelled? It was supposed to come up October of last year. I'm sort of feeling like this is Duke Nukem, or Admuncher v5..
That's my fault, I was too optimistic with it. Still working on it. We are really close to first alpha (not beta yet) now.
Many thanks to the developers of the Adguard Adblocker Browser Plugin, because they added the option (||) Pause Adguard Protection to version v2. -Some Developers respond to the users' inquiries -Others do not only ignore the users' inquiries, but they also attack on the users' requests by calling their suggestion(s) 'unnecessary', 'peculiar' etc.
Please dont be passive aggressive. He only implements a feature if it makes sense to broader audience or if it is really useful. Anyways, there is an indirect way to achieve it in uBlock.. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Dynamic-filtering:-turn-off-uBlock-everywhere He did implement many features right away when it sounds useful. He is just upfront and says what he thinks, Nothing about attacking . He is just sticking to his goal. i.e., to be Lean and efficient. And if its not about uBlock. I am extremely sorry! I will delete it!
Bottom Line Adblock Plus already included the Disable Everywhere option. Adguard Adblocker lately decided to include the Pause Adguard Protection option. uBlock does Not include an option that both Adblock Plus and Adguard Adblocker include. End of story!
Probably already mentioned, but only 3 days left on the 30% off lifetime licence deal. I'm deciding right now between this or Ad Muncher. Going to trial Adguard for the next day or so to see how it compares.
I noticed that Spam404 filter is available in Adguard. What this filter blocks/deals with and do you recommend to use it? Is it a must? Feedback is welcome. Edit: I read in this https://www.mywot.com/ru/forum/42330-spam404-com-is-a-trusted-source and honestly I'm quite confused about intention of this filter. Furthermore it seems that this filter is pretty controversial.
I'd use Admuncher+uBlock(default) for now, I think it's best. Then when v6 of Adguard comes out, hopefully that will take the lead again. Buying licenses to Adguard right now certainly wouldn't hurt though. I have 9 licenses myself in storage for when v6 impresses me, but right now I find v5 to be slower, less effective, and somewhat buggy. It's functional, but not to the level I want it to be.
I am having problems with the HTTPS part of it for Firefox.I did the import thing with the certificates and it changes back to untrusted sites again.I had to turn HTTPS off completely.
