"Chameleon is a Chrome privacy extension that https://assets-cdn.github.com/images/icons/emoji/unicode/1f31f.png detects fingerprinting-like activity, and https://assets-cdn.github.com/images/icons/emoji/unicode/2728.png protects against fingerprinting, currently by making Chrome look like Tor Browser."

This is still in alpha but my Panopticlick goes from one in nearly 5 million to one in 68,000.

Grab the zip file extract and move the chrome folder onto the extension page. It messes up some sites where you log into them so there is an option to disable site by site basis.

Right now it identifies what it believes to be canvas tracking and shows what they are looking for.

My Panopticlick profile is now 1 in 5,300 with Chameleon and 1 in nearly 5 million without it. I believe that is because now I have am accepting first party cookies though. When I disable the extension I go back to 1 in 5 million.

This makes it much more difficult to identify me by my profile.
