Novastar, if you don't set the sandbox to be deleted automatically, do it manually. Sometimes, that's all you have to do to take care of an issue like yours. If you updated Palemoon recently and have not deleted the sandbox for a while, that can create problems when you run the updated browser.

If that dont work, then do as recommended by nnikoss. If the sandbox is corrupted or if there is a bad setting in place, Palemoon will run in the new sandbox.
    To create a new sandbox:

    Sandboxie control>Sandbox>Create new sandbox

After you create the new sandbox, run Palemoon without changing any settings.

I know a guy who has been using Palemoon with SBIE for a long long time. No problem, you shouldn't either. If none of the above works, do the new Palemoon profile thing, that way you ll know if an addon that you are using is conflicting with SBIE.

You didn't mention your antivirus and the rest of security programs that you are using. One of them can be interfering with SBIE and don't allow Palemoon to run in the sandbox.

Last. You can upgrade to Sandboxie beta 4.15.9. Over the top works fine.

To set up your USB, CD or DVD drives as Forced folders, navigate and add the letter of the drive:

    Sandbox settings>Program start>Forced folders

Folders like your Downloads folder, you navigate to the folder and add the folder.

To force programs, you navigate to the executable of the program and add it. Some people add the programs folder. But that wont do nothing and is not how the feature is designed to be used.

    Sandbox settings>Program start>Forced programs

Have been using Palemoon and Sandboxie for years with no problems. Will try to upload attachments again. Palemoon is version 25.2 with NoScript and Adblock Lateral atts. and as Bo recommends above update Sandboxie to 4.15.9. I will update later. I'm using Windows 7 and you're in windows 8.1 but shouldn't make a difference. Sandboxie1Palemoon.GIF Sandboxie2Palmoon 1.GIF Sandboxie3Palemoon.GIF Sandboxie4Palemoon.GIF

Also been using Pale Moon 25.2.0 and Sandboxie 4.14 without any issues. If you have separate profiles try running in a different profile. Could check the troubleshooting information and reset Pale Moon to it's default state or restart browser with Add-ons disabled.

I will check it out, but I will only run it sandboxed. I did notice that if you copy folders of installed browsers like Firefox and Opera to another sandbox, they keep on working, I didn't expect that. I thought you always needed portable apps to do this.

Just to add, you could probably get rid of ghostery and popup blocker and install instead, Adblock latitude 3.02 (which is native to Palemoon) with Easy Privacy+ Easy list, all one list, that would take care of ghostery and popup blocker. The old saying "less is more" is applicable here. Adblock latitude can be downloaded from here https://addons.palemoon.org/extensions/privacy-and-security/adblock-latitude/

Noticed your screenshots have FlashPlayerPlugin listed in Internet Access and Start/Run
Access in Sandboxed Settings. Could you explain this?

    Thanks.

The way Wolfrun has settings in that screenshot, he can watch videos in YouTube but can not watch a football game live (streaming). He probably uses another sandbox for live games. For the one he took the screenshot, he can get rid of Flash player plugin from the internet allowed programs and the sandbox would work the same as what he does using it now.

Exactly Bo. Flash player does not need internet access in Sandboxie when viewing Youtube, Daily Motion and some random streams in CBS Sports and ESPN. But, for example not this one http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/22 I have to "enable" flash player" to access the internet in Sandboxie settings for that one to work for example. Also, in plugins settings in Palemoon, I have the option "ask to activate" enabled, not "automatic", for flash not to start running automatically. Also Bo, remember the site I sent you to watch NFL streamed games, there I definately need to allow "flash player" to have access to the internet in Sandboxie in order for the stream to work, as you stated in your above post.

Those screen shots above were just uploaded to show that Palemoon can indeed be able to run in Sandboxie with no problems as I have been doing it for years.

Also I might add I have another Sandbox set up for confidential purposes such as banking which is Palemoon portable 64bit where only Palemoon is allowed internet access, nothing else. Flash isn't activated in that setup at all.

Yes , I'm aware you can watch youtube videos or other sites that post videos. Haven't tested streaming.
In this case I setup Sandboxie with Flash having no Internet Access and no Start/Run Access. I can also
have the option to disable plugin-container.exe so it doesn't need Start/Run Access in Sandboxie when
    running Flash and playing videos.

Also have " ask to activate " set. Are you using the non-bundled flash version and then installing it on the real system permanently?

Yes, but I went through these settings. http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html Starting In the "Table of Contents" on the left and starting from the Privacy settings and working my way down configuring accordingly. I know that you can install re Sandboxie. I haven't had a problem with flash that I can remember since using windows 98. back around 1997 till now. Back in those days wasn't using sandboxie, so maybe I was just lucky back then.;)

    Salutations,

Can you show one example's of each of the following. One for watching Youtube and/or one for live streaming.
This way, I will form good habit from the get go. And, I will remember, what you show me for a lifetime. This
    can be from anyone!

    Many thanks,

Beginning with Flash Player 10.3, the Local Settings Manager supersedes the Online Settings
Manager for managing global settings on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The Local Settings
Manager can be accessed in the Control Panel on Windows and in System Preferences on Mac.

I use CCleaner to clean up any residue from flash and also restrict #sharedObjects and
    settings.sol in Macromedia folder.

Post #1228 is what I use for viewing streamed videos other than youtube. While the uploaded images is how I set up for youtube, daily motion, moveshare etc.. Notice flash is not needed to access internet in Sandboxie settings.

Edit: Just an added note...watching youtube you shouldn't get the "issue message SBIE 1307 when access is denied" message....but the others such as daily motion, moveshare etc.. you probable will get the message. You can either untick the SBIE 1307 message or ignore it...the video will still play without flash being added to internet access in sandboxie restrictions.

Moose thumb nail rule, flashplayerplugin DOES NOT need internet access for youtube. Flashplayerpluging NEEDS internet access, so add it for Live Streams. Ok ? You can check with Bo on this also. Send me PM if you like.

I agree. The only reason I made the previous posts was to answer to a statement that Palemoon browser was not compatible with Sandboxie. As of now I am done as I think I have made my point that Palemoon is indeed compatible with Sandboxie. Lets get back to the original topic of the thread now.:thumb:
