Still issues with Skype and Opera 12.17 under Windows 8.1. Might have to wait for the stable release.

Night Raven, according to this post from last Friday, Skype its working under SBIE in W8.1. The problem was fixed. If you are using SBIE 4.14, you should test Skype under SBIE 4.15.4.

If you are still having issues with Skype using 4.15.4, perhaps you should post in the thread above.

So many posts about how Hitman pro alert and MBAE doesn't jive with Sandboxie. And then all the tedious tweaking and workarounds. And all said and done, don't kid yourself for a millisecond that new versions of any combo therein will probably break because of... once again... incompatibility issues. Consider that a given. Period. And if you don't happen to be on the up and up with updates.., Then may heaven help you with all the necessary tweaking and workarounds to make it work.

I'm wondering if eventually Invincea should consider implementing within Sandboxie the same or similar technology offered by MBAE and HMPA. The user benefits are obvious. Otherwise, a combination of HMPA, Sandboxie, and MBAE will remain intact.

Hitman Pro Alert works absolutely fine with Sandboxie, I am using that combo right now as I type. I think the problem may be trying to combine HMPA with MBAE. Then I think there easily could be problems. I can't speak to MBAE and SBIE, but HMPA and SBIE work fine together. Just takes adding one line to SBIE.

If you use Sandboxie you have to add \Device\NamedPipe\hmpalert via Sandbox Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Full Access > Edit/Add button and Click Configure> Reload Configuration.

Good evening, I ask you a question about this fantastic program:

if accidentally a malware is activated inside the sandbox (for example during an Internet session) and then I close Sandboxie without deleting
the virtual area, the malware is still running or is turned off too?
Closing sandboxie, is closed anything active into the sandbox, including malware ??

If you make sure all programs are terminated (No red dots) when you close the sandbox, then nothing is running.

Good... very good!!....Thanks for the reply, Bo!

So for example, I could also install an "infected" program inside the sandbox, and then instead of deleting the sandbox, simply I close Sandboxie.....would be great!
