Not sure if I should put this in the sandboxie forum or here, but I updated to 64 bit, but cannot seem to get the browser to open in sandboxie, when I try I get this error and it gives me a aw snap page, not that I use the combo too often, banking and such but anyone else having this problem?
Make sure you are running version 4.13.3, as it was designed for Chrome 37. At least if you try it and it doesn't fix things, you can report that on the SBIE forum.
Interested to know if you tried the suggested fix... checking 'Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings'?
64bit portable version available now at Portableapps. http://portableapps.com/news/2014-08-29--google-chrome-portable-37.0.2062.102-64-bit-test-released
103 helps a lot and now it looks like it used to before the last update. I can set my default zoom back to 150% again.
103 hosed one of my extensions, Adblock Plus, for some reason. All of a sudden it said it had installed ABP, and my old settings/filters were gone. Very weird. As for the tiny font, yes, mine reverted back to real tiny, but this time I just set page zoom to 125% and all appears well. A little too much monkeying around on Chrome's behalf. Lots of inconvenience to users.
I have got another issue with either 102 and 103, 64bit on W7. Chrome does not close background apps even if this option is not checked in Settings and Chrome is closed. Actually it still runs in the background and the only way to close it (and apps) is to kill with Task Manager.
One thing I would try would be to check (select) the setting (Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed) and then close Chrome. Then go back and uncheck the setting and close Chrome again. This toggling process has worked for me in other applications from time to time. PS - One more thought... this might be happening due to a problematic extension. Try disabling them all, closing Chrome (you may have to use TM again to kill processes), then reenable the extensions one at a time and keep closing/opening Chrome after each one to see if a guilty party shows up.
I have got a reply by Google, they are aware of this issue (it's tracked in their database) but still unclear how to fix it, there are too many things which can cause it. I found another one, in the meantime: the button "Send Feedback" which is supposed to be on the "Report Issue" window (Chrome/About) is not present. They are aware also and working to fix it.
The stable channel has been updated to 37.0.2062.120 for Windows, Mac and Linux. This release contains an update for Adobe Flash as well as a number of other fixes. More info here.
Updated before your post this time, cause I noticed a new flash version. Too bad Chrome OS 37 isn't available for the Acer C7.
I saw that Flash update notice earlier as well, and tried a couple times unsuccessfully to update Chrome. I was beginning to think they were going to give us another one of those "go update Flash yourself" notices that they recently pulled on us.
