Win 7 x64 running all nice and locked down except recently I noticed this.

I have a pop up that is appearing and dying so quickly over and over on my task bar I had to record the screen and pulled this snap from the recording to get an idea of what it was:

It turns out to be Interactive Services Detection running a notification pop up and beside the fact that microsoft spelt from incorrectly I am not sure what to make of this nor do I know how to troubleshoot and stop this from happening.

I am appealing to all the Win 7 guru's on Wilders to see if I can get a method of troubleshooting this to discover why this is popping up and thereby determine how to stop it.

If anyone could help with this I would really appreciate it.

Yes, I saw that page... thanks for showing it to me.

My problem is is that the notification appears and dies so quickly i can't click on it to discover the associated application.

I have also noticed this is an intermittent problem.

I have installed process explorer for now to see if i can catch anything starting in another way when it happens next.

If anyone else has other ideas I am open to them.

    Thanks

The article pointed out above shows how to use event viewer in case the popup is too quick.
