Do you guys like the current layout? What would you do differently?

How would you as a user want to make Antivirus Remover more simple?

What other features would you like to see added?

It appears that Antivirus Remover is no longer working
It does not connect to server and download the necessary 3rd party uninstallers

I would like to let everyone know the project that is Antivirus Remover is not dead for those who like or use the program.

I haven't had time to work on the project to get everything working again after the crash of my server because of personal problems that are now solved and I can begin to work on it once again.

I will have it up very soon. I'm shooting for this Saturday night.

    thank you
    Brock

    Product Update: Antivirus Remover V1.92

GUI Changes: Changed the way Stats are shown when downloading a product.

    Removed: Tools option.

Fixed: a few links that where not working.

Changes: Changed the link so locations where Antivirus Remover will search for product updates.
No longer uses my internal network but Dropbox direct links instead.

    New Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lj7rttei7jcsu25/Antivirus Remover.exe?dl=1

The reason I've removed the Tools option is because those tools links are changing a lot and I really couldn't keep up with the changes to be honest. If people really like that option I might add it back if a lot of people want it.

    thank you
    Brock

Could you notify me when this is updated? tim at majorgeeks dot com

I am watching this particular thread so as long as you update on this, I should get the notification.

I spotted this on Softpedia and got an old non-working version. Some digging finally got me here and this version works perfectly.

    Your listing is at http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/antivirus_remover.html

    Brock,

OlderGeeks.com would love to pick this up but we are getting the following error upon quality testing. "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Unable to connect to the remote server."

    Please advise.

    Randy,

What version of Antivirus Remover are you using? 1.92 is the most current version.

Here is the most current version.

I'm thinking you have a older version of my program. Also is your .NET framework up to date? Antivirus Remover uses .net 4.0

    Brock,

Thanks. We started the first test on an XP box with an older .NET version... our bad. Do you have an official description of your software for our download entry? We always like the developers to provide that so we don't screw it up. By the way, terrific program. This is exactly the kind of stuff we like at OlderGeeks, no-nonsense, useful, crapware-free tools. Thanks for your hard work.
