Hi, i'm using colasoft ping tool from a couple of years. Some month ago i change to windows 7 and from that date i notice that colasoft ping tool begin to loss some ping randomly.
To test i try from cmd to keep under ping the same target and i notice that only colasoft ping tool loss some packets (same dimension, same timeout, ecc...)

There is still this bug (i read of it in some older post on this forum)?

    It is not a bug.
The ping is for detecting the network connection. Sometimes the packets may be lost due to not good network status, and then it displays "Request Time Out" on the Ping Tool. The ping tool does not lose packets, but the packets are lost due to network or device reasons.

    Hi AdictoDigital,

Your test result is due to the setting of time out value.
The default time out value in Windows Ping Tool is 4000ms, while in Colasoft Ping Tool it is 500ms by default.
You can modify this setting from the Option menu.
