Sports Authority To Sell 25 Million Customer Email Addresses

    Why does a store need your email address? If they insist, just give them <nobody@dev.null> or whatever ;)

    I think that they had an online store.

    When I was still able to get around I bought lots of stuff at the Sports Authority local brick and mortar store and never was asked for my email address.

    I bought some footwear from a bricks and mortar couple of years ago, and they asked me for an email address - Of course, I declined. Next time, if I get pushed I'll borrow yours mirimir.
