my first computer : the marvelous, unbeatable, overpowered , the people's champ ! behold the Thomson MO6 !!!
PPC Mac Mini.... Apple considers it obsolete. Still runs strong with an updated PPC Firefox fork... TenFourFox at 38.0.10 ESR. What's not to love even if Steve Jobs killed it?
The Dell Ispirion 2500 Laptop I got when I was at school, though I don't use it any more and it will probably just be sold, I loved it a lot it ran Windows 2000 Pro on it, I use to write stories on it and save them on floppy disks.
For me it's the Commodore Amiga 500. It was way ahead of it's time, coming with a GUI based operating system with preemptive multitasking (much better than the cooperative mutitaking used in Mac OS, and early versions of Windows) in 1985. It was a much better than the Mac when it was first released, and Apple were worried until they saw that Commodore weren't marketing it seriously. Windows didn't get preemptive multitaking until the release of Windows NT in 1993, and the first consumer version of Windows to include it was Windows 95. The Mac didn't get it until OS X was released in 2001. It's a real shame the Amiga never achieved the success it deserved.
Commodore 32K Pet, C64, T264, B128, and Amiga. Yes, Amiga was ahead of its time and it was all ages ago and I got one of 10 or so t-shirts! roger_m, Do you remember how you could slide entire window off the screen? And now we have to suffer with Windows 10. and this other memory:
Yes I do. I miss those days. But, to be fair I'm really impressed with the latest build of Windows 10.

I still have my Amiga 2000 lying around somewhere. I hope one day to set it up properly and give it the space it needs....
