    Nice improvements:

    • Taskbar skinning - change background color, texture, and text color
    • New Metallic skin with many new skin features
    • New menu animations
    • New ability to execute some start menu commands from the command line
    • New buttons for Explorer to change folder settings and to create zip archive
    • New ability to change the font and size of the status bar in Explorer
    • Multiple minor improvements and bugfixes
    • Installer is available in Spanish

    Thanks, Victek.
(Why don't they have a thumbs-up button here?)

Wow, this is shocking. Seems like it's becoming a trend to hack sites of popular software, and seems like they even have the skills to infect software.

I tried it for a while, but I prefer Start10.

I prefer Start10 as well, but it's a paid product (granted it doesn't cost much) and Classic Shell is free.

Thanks, I read about it. But if I understood correctly, they didn't infect the software, they just replace them with a MBR virus. To me it would have been more scary if they managed to make the legitimate installers run malware. But I guess that isn't as easy.

To be honest, I always most never use the Start Menu, so I don't need any extra features.
