I'm looking for an overlay that would cover the clock in my taskbar with an overlay of a clock, with the overlay clock running off of the system clock +/- a set number of hours. The goal being to set my system clock to a different continent, to obfuscate my location, while still being able to use it as a clock without having to do math in my head. Does such a tool exist? The few that I've found mirror the system clock time with no ability to offset.
just set time to what tz want and use windows second clock to set to your real time , it shows both times when you put your cursor on time date in taskbar
Obfuscate to whom? Someone looking over your shoulder? Cameras? But then, they see lots more than the time.
OK, so set the system clock to UTC. And run a GUI clock app that converts to your local time. If it's not a system setting, I doubt that a browser can see it.
So does anyone know of a taskbar clock overlay that works on Windows 10 x64? Every few days I try a new one and it won't work for one reason or another. No AV alerts of any sort are popping up when I try them. For instance, most recently I tried TimeLeft, whose help file shows an option to replace the system clock, but navigating to the area shown in the help file, the option shown in the help file isn't there. Various other 'always on top' clocks fail to remain on top, any time I click on the taskbar, the clock will become and stay obscured by the taskbar.
i think our buddy magic's spent just a tad too much time on whoer.net lately. just disable java script in your browser or use a script blocker. there's no other way.
Eventually, there will be watches as thin as duct tape, with polymer battery. I'm sure that it's doable now.
