Windows 10 restore help

    Im trying to restore my pc back to windows 8
    But it is saying i have a missing partition
    Can anyone please help me with this?

    When did you upgrade to Win10?

    What software are you using for the restore?

    Can you post a screenshot of Disk Management?

    i upgraded soon as i got the notification that i could get windows 10

    i was using update and security,recovery,reset this pc----on windows 10 settings

    hope the picture below is what you were wanting to see in disk management,this is all new to me

    What date was that? Approximately.

    Your Disk Management is fine. No surprises.

    In some machines, during installation of Win10 , it creates new partitions that messed with the Win8 "partitions position structure" (forgot the right term, something to do with WIM), so the recovery partitions got a new "position" and can't be found by the recovery/reset features. if it this the case, there is nothing you can do.

    i got this kind of issue after dual-booting with Linux, when i wanted recover my Win8 system after deleting Linux , i couldn't.

    Windows 8 is soooo bad in comparison to 10. I hope you meant 8.1, which is still....ewwww

    yea it was 8.1,i wanted to reformat to what came on the computer then from there upgrade to windows 10 for a fresh new start
