    Yes I understood it the same way. Honestly though, how many people will this effect significantly?

    I think it is a fair call. Mainstream 64 bit processors have been used since mid 2000's. Should not be a problem for many people to use 64 bit Linux, provided the other drivers they need are supported. Moving away from 32bit is not necessarily bad thing.

    There is always Chromium, which is easily available through repositories whereas Chrome is not.
