Victek, only started using it today. I trialed it some time ago and found that it slowed down my surfing, the trial kept giving me a server in Netherlands. But the pay for version gives me servers in the US and I am slowed down just a tad but seeing how fast I surf anyway I do not notice it. According to the link I posted the license is for 6 devices. Oh, one other note. I've discovered that when checking my on-line email, hotmail, gmail, that they see me coming from another region so I get asked security questions to see if it is really me, so this software is really working. I now turn Anon off whenever checking email, it is VERY easy to turn off then back on. Acadia
Not sure, remember, I just started using this today. But just discovered another cool thing. When using my regular stuff without Anon, I test completely stealth at grc but still fail because they can detect a ping or something like that, I don't remember the exact wording; I have a NEW Verizon gateway. But using Anon, I pass everything, completely protected, at least at the last sever they gave me the last time.
hmmm, very interesting. I have no doubt that this program protects your privacy, but it does appear to slow you down on the Internet a bit. I've even completely killed this program and brought it back up, but eventually it even slows down my non-anon, "unprotected" surfing, according to speedtest.net. Yes, everything still works but slower, unless you reboot, depends how many times you kill, then reactivate Anon in the same surfing session. Anyway, I am going to use Anon unless things get pathetic. The most I would lose is $0.00, because they have a 45 day money-back guarantee. But keeping it for at least the next 44 days, this is kind of fun and new territory for me. Acadia

Ok, after over 24 hours of using this thing I can say the following. It must have been a fluke or something when I thought using Anon slowed me down even afterwards when I was no longer using it. Without Anon, I am flying as fast as ever, even when I use it then turn it off. Most important however, when I am actually using Anon I am DEFINITELY slowed down. I am slowed down from the usual 50mbs to about 30. Now, 10 years ago I would have KILLED to travel at 30mbs, but we humans do definitely tend to get spoiled, don't we, and I can slightly feel the missing 20mbs. I continue to test better at GRC.com when using Anon than when not. Thanks for those two articles, MisterB, but they don't do anything to me to deter me from using this software, the slow down might, but not the articles. Heck, I even PRAISE Anon for what they are trying to do in the first article, the US government is not always bad. And the second article was absurd, who is this author? Of course Anon has my credit card number, every company that I ever purchased anything from online does! Acadia
Ok, my final report on Anon. The concept is great, and I disagree with much contained in the articles above, I will not bother going into detail because the "deal" is almost over anyway which makes this all a mute point. But, the program simply slows me down too much. I do not care how perfect it is otherwise but I am spoiled for speed. Everyone, take care and have a happy life. Acadia
