Thanks for the info. I'm always on the hunt for good DNS.

Good effort from a trusted provider. But I'll hang back for now and check back in a month or two as for my SW USA location I'll be taking a performance hit vs the two OpenNIC "solid green dot" servers which I prefer over my ISP's offerings regardless of some marginally better stats.

Others might get a better showing.

Since Symantec now own Verisign I wonder if it is very different to Norton ConnectSafe?

    12. Service Data. Verisign uses the Service Data to provide the Service and for internal business and analysis purposes. You understand that through your use of the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information deemed to be PII under the laws of an applicable jurisdiction including the transfer of such PII to the United States and/or other countries for storage, processing and use by Verisign.

I believe ConnectSafe only supports IPv4. Versign supports both IPv4 and IPv6. I am going to give it a shot.

I was using ConnectSafe but had to get rid of it when my IPS starting switching over to IPv6.

Just ran GRC DNS Spoofability Test for it. Excellent result. No lag for me on any web page access. It's a keeper.

Hmm, I'll try. Google Public has enough of my PII.

  9. No thanks. All your DNS data is siphoned into USA servers. I think I'll pass.

    Actually, it's pumped.
    Except IPv6 which flows uphill.
