I think you can it direct from F-Secure direct, without having to go through Windows Deals...I went through Windows Deals and the instructions were to register: "F-Secure Freedome VPN (100% Discount) Create an account here: https://mysafe.f-secure.com/portal/welcome Get license here: https://mysafe.f-secure.com/portal/coupon/share/freedome Click "Generate a voucher" to get your voucher. 1 year license, up to 3 devices WindowsDeal.com"
Yes, this is also on Topsoftbargains... I rather mention THE SOURCE from where I find the giveaway, instead of ripping their infos, and posting like that. Btw, you can use any e-mail with windowsdeal, and get to download instantly..
I don't think I ripped off anyone...I explained it. Thanks... I know, because I have a Windows Deal from a previous rime that I got once before through them.
Chill, I didn't mean you are ripping, rather meant people could accuse me of stealing other sites infos,if i don't mention the source. I prefer to mention the source always, anyways.
Does anyone know if F-Secure Freedome VPN is compatible with Windows 10? TIA Edit: The answer is yes https://www.f-secure.com/en_US/web/home_us/freedome
It's first VPN client I've tried and I must say I like it so far. Software is really simple to use, speeds are so far great and no leaks on different tests so far. They were my first choice because of their privacy and anti surveillance stance (especially from Mikko). And now this free one year licence. I've added it to previous 90 day test licence and now have 450 days left.
thanks alot for posting this. has anyone else got an LG G4? i am unable to turn on freedome protection as the ok button doesnt work. works fine on my nexus 7 tablet.
Yesterday I had around 360 days left, today I'm left with 8 days. It looks like when test period has finished it took away most of this free offer period also.
Yes, I noticed this today. I had about a year and today I have five days. I would consider buying a subscription, but I would like to know first why they invalidated the free offer. Edit: There's a thread in the F-Secure forum about it here... https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure/365-days-promotion-code-changed/td-p/78518 The company says this: Re: 365 days promotion code changed to only 7 days left [ New ] Options Monday - last edited Monday by Community Manager Katriina_M Hello Everyone, "We are now in the process of expiring the Freedome subscription codes that are linked to trial F-Secure SAFE licenses, as the free 1-year Freedome subscription was only for customers who purchased F-Secure SAFE from the campaign. These Freedome subscriptions will be expired over the next few weeks. When we expire these Freedome subscriptions, your Freedome subscription will expire 7 days after this. If multiple Freedome subscription codes have been used on the same device, your installation will expire one week after we expire the subscription." Apparently the free subscription to Freedome was not meant to be a standalone offer. Still, it's a bummer that they are not honoring it.
Here is a discussion on their forum: https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure/365-days-promotion-code-changed/td-p/78518 In post 13 they explain: "We are now in the process of expiring the Freedome subscription codes that are linked to trial F-Secure SAFE licenses, as the free 1-year Freedome subscription was only for customers who purchased F-Secure SAFE from the campaign. These Freedome subscriptions will be expired over the next few weeks." Of course this is not the case with our giveaway licences and ATM there is no other explanation.
This thread is about Freedome VPN, so I guess you are asking about this product. I can confirm that Freedome VPN and Sandboxie work with no conflicts.
