I have had this software installed for a while, and I am about to backup my Windows 7 Install to make it easier if I don't want to keep Windows 10 when I try it soon. I wanted to read through the manual, and that is when I realised there is little information about the version I have and no manual. Is there a manual for this software? And if not, what is the difference between this version and the standard Backup & Recovery Home 15? If I know the difference then I can just use the manual available and ignore anything not relevant.
If you try W10 by upgrading and it activates "supposedly" you would have thirty days to revert back to W7 but I haven't read about anyone trying that out. If you wait or the revert doesn't work the product key will be for W10 at that point not W7 and activation will fail. Go to this page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10?OCID=WIP_r_Win10_Body_AddPC, download the Media Creation Tool, burn a DVD/USB Flash Drive so you can install W10 to try. This is a safer route to insure that you don't lose W7. Some upgrades from W7/8.1 to W10 have failed leaving them with nothing!
To perform the basic operations related to backup and restore images, all Paragon programs are very similar. You can download the B&R 15 Home manual from http://www.paragon-software.com/home/brh/ > Documentation.
