Is there any way to get rid of this stupid notification? I've left behind avast! for a bit because of stupid accounts and registrations, decided for Panda Free and now this thing is shoving me the window to make an account that I don't want. Is there any way to turn off this stupid nonsense? I don't want an account, get it Panda!?

Also, when downloading Kaspersky I just put "asd@asd.com". I'm surprised they never block this :p

And when i've entered the e-mail it now wants password and the whole account thing. I don't want any of this crap. I'm fed up with programs that nag and bitch for stupid accounts from which you get zero meaningful benefit.

I just gave Panda an email account address I infrequently use. It wasn't that big a deal.

Free? So are ~Phrase removed~ and we don't rush on them like crazy... Every single AV that I transition to gets messed up with some stupid crap. I used to install Panda Cloud on computers because it required no registration and it had no popups. Now it has both. Just like avast!. So damn annoying.

In less time that you posted all that, you could have used a harakirimail address and created an account. ;)

Does Panda nag after creating an account? Does it require "renewal"? Those are reasons I don't recommend avast also.

Yes, once per day or after a cold boot (not sure). No, AFAIK.

I gave up on Panda Free because it took a huge performance toll at boot time in Win 10, and to some degree even in 7. When I removed it from 10, it was like night and day, just about everything was much much faster. Could just be some compatibility issue with my machine, but I don't use it anymore for performance reasons.. And yeah, I hate all that nag stuff too, it's ridiculous.

Thats why Qihoo 360 is so popular these days, seems to be the only free antivirus that is unintrusive and ease to use for the average joe.

I don't see any pop-ups on Panda at all.

All you have to do is check 'Show Panda news' to Off and you will never see another pop-up. Simples! ;)

Seriously, word *phrase removed* is offensive? To whom? It wasn't directed at anyone. The world is really turning people into politically correct cushion padded weaklings...

That button doesn't change anything regarding registration popup which gets activated EVERY single time you try to open main GUI. Which is ridiculous and I've tossed Panda from my system. As crazy as it might sound, I've gone to Comodo again. It's currently one of the rare security apps that's~snip~ not insane with registrations and popups. That's how you lose users. When will companies finally get it...

It has changed, it bothers with various messages, like USB is connected, new Windows updates, clean your PC and such.
Do not open it? Average users never open GUI, so they will never see it. Besides you are getting one of the best AVs for free, a popup is a small annoyance.

Who asked you to use Q360TS? Use Q360TSE. The essential version is free from such crap. No crappy notification, It will only notify if there's a threat.

Well, I looked at it like this, I could go back to MSE, buy a vendor AV, or for the slight inconvenience of registering with a little used email account, get one of the lightest (in my experience the lightest) and effective free AV's in the world. Simples!

Just use Q360TSE. Might have some bugs but if you are connected to the internet, you are covered. They update 2x a day if I am not mistaken. If you are concern about FP, use the trust list. Add the whole folder or even add single file to prevent detection.

I think you have to say 'perceptively challenged viewpoint' instead of 'insanity' now to be PC. :argh:

This has never occurred in my experience with Panda Free in two computers. I see the popup once a day, as I posted before.

The site owner wants his site with community/professional standards; to not respect that would be rude to the owner and its users.

All these can be turned off quite simply in the settings GUI. As @LunarWolf said, the Essentials version has none of that (switched to it when they updated it for Win10...zero bloat!) I'm quite fond of the USB notification (which is purely optional) as it's an easier GUI for opening explorer and ejecting the medium.

I've only seen/reported one bug and they fixed it: the hamburger menu didn't work when 360 was on a secondary monitor. I'm not suggesting it's completely bug free (I wouldn't suggest that about any program) but I can't see it being any more prone to bugs than any reputable software.
