    Hi all

I am using Mac Reflect Free and am getting to grips with making a Differential Image. I cannot seem to find a way to add information to the image to explain what the Diff. Image represents. You can add information on a Full Backup, but not as far as I can see to a differential.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks

    Terry

You mean the comment ? I would advise to add manually a simple txt file with the comments in the folder where the image files are. Not elegant but it works...

There is a simple way to do it with paid, but I don't know if it works with the free version.

    Several ways.

    1. If you don't use definition files, initiate the backup and select advance options. There click comments and add your comments.

    2. If you do use definition files, highlight one of them and select run. Under run select prompt and there you can set comments as well as backup type

    3. If you have definition files, right click on it, select create desktop shortcut, and for backup type select prompt.. Then when you double click that icon, you will be prompted and then you can add comments and select backup type.

Why don't you try the definition files. Once you catch on you will wonder why you never did.

Once you use them, and then set a shortcut to run by just double clicking on them you won't look back.
