Still not exactly up there, but good result. I wonder how far will they be able to take newly introduced HIPS component. Hopefully it will be able to complement the rest even further.
Interesting...Panda seems for real. There are quite a few good solid choices to pick from: FP's are an issue for some!!!
What is also remarkeable: from October 2014 to March 2015 Microsoft default level averages around 85%, since May 2015 this has increased to avreages around 90%. I have some relatives on MSE and MBAM (with life time license), since MBAM changed to yearly renewals I have installed Panda Free on PC's of others. I am still in doubt to change MSE + MBAM over to Panda Panda's excellent performance since Q2 2014 versus MBAM's excellent des-infection capabilities.
If only Panda would include their stupid URL scanning within the app itself. This is really the only reason why I'm not using it. And yes, I know youc an separate URL scanner from the toolbar. I still hate it. They have the URL Monitor in the app which literally does nothing. It just lists accessed URL's and that's it. Ugh.
Only problem with Panda is that there current version is not compatible with windows 10 yet. I hope there are on time for the 29th. (Others like Emsisoft are also not ready yet.)
What are you guys talking about? There is no such issue between AV-C and Symantec. Symantec continues to participate in some of our tests each year (like Business review, sometimes Mobile etc.). They just are not in the main-test series because one of the tests (FDT) in the test-series is mandatory, in which they currently do not wish to participate. Therefore they can't be in the public main-tests.
Yep.They need to be consistent. We aren't done yet with avast. That's for sure.I wonder when the HIPS will come into play.
Their 2016 beta is but I didn't see anywhere near the result AV-C shows for 2015. I'm curious why Tencent and Baidu are on there and Qihoo is not; they were all accused of malfeasance.
Same story with Bitdefender 2016, 14 july start private beta, 28 july start public beta ...... ready or not ?!
It's funny how some products are Windows 10 ready for months and some are not even in a proper beta stage...
