I read somewhere that you can prevent WebRTC leaks with NoScript (Firefox). Anyone know how to to this? I've also heard that you can permanently fix this leak by going into about:config. However, because I'm not sure exactly what WebRTC does, I'm not exactly sure what effect this will have on sites in general. Also, what other options exist short of the about:config solution? Any other add-ons or plug-ins?

In the tests I've run, WebRTC doesn't work without javascript enabled. Noscript will stop it unless you whitelist the site that uses it. The about:config setting is the better solution for Firefox. The best solution if you are concerned about VPN leaks is to set up a VPN tunnel in a router. That prevents WebRTC leaks regardless of the browser or its settings.
What about the other webrtc settings in firefox, anyone know what they do ? I set all these to false until I know more about it. media.peerconnection.enabled;false media.peerconnection.identity.enabled;false media.peerconnection.trickle_ice;false media.peerconnection.use_document_iceservers;false media.peerconnection.video.enabled;false
I set all of them false too. media.peerconnection.enabled is the main one but no point in leaving the others enabled.
