It was the first ISP, that I connected to internet with dial-up way back when....so I still have an e-mail account with them still.
Yep, I still have my original account (approx. 15 years ago) with AOL and use it for unimportant email sometimes.
Actually, I was talking about the current AOL which isn't a provider at all, so I wonder why Verizon bought them. Do you guys actually visit the sites that are developed by AOL? I agree with the analyst, this deal doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I sometimes feel CEO's come up with dumb ideas, just to stay busy. A lot of mergers are completely useless and not logical.
