ESET virus database 11462 - cannot get it

Anybody able to get virus database version 11462 ? I cannot. Rebooted several times; cleared update cache; etc.

no mine still says 11461

I have the same issue as you (VSD 11461 shows as up-to-date on my system but ESET site shows VSD 11462 being the current one).
Sorry I do not know the reason why though...

I too have VSD 11461 installed as latest.

I guess we have to be patient.

 

11463 now posted. I can't download that VSD either.

I can confirm the same with the posting of VSD 11463. My system still shows VSD 11461 is up-to date.
The is a thread that has just been started over on the ESET Forums (Can't update to VSD 11462 or 11463) about this issue (but no replies as of this post)...

 

11461 for me on two W7 x 64 machines.

Why would you manually install updates?

Shouldn't you just install an AV, then not 'worry' about it? Seems odd to be preoccupied with 'versions', maybe someone can educate me on this.

 

to be honest I never EVER check what version of virus definitions the AV is on, this is the first I checked just to help Fan J to see if they were stuck but I wouldn't worry too much. HIPS + common sense have me covered

Issue should now be fixed as my VSD just updated to the current 11463...
